2022 Forest River XLR Boost 37TSX13
In this video, Matt and Wil review a toy hauler 5th wheel with a 13’ garage. This toy hauler has an amazing floor plan for its price.
Exterior
This 5th wheel has a painted fiberglass front cap, front storage, electric stabilizing, and an instant hot tankless water heater.
On the sides, there is pass-through storage, two power awnings with LED lights, a tv bracket, aluminum fold-up steps to the main door, a second door with black fold-up steps, a leash latch, ladder, fuel fill-up for things like dirt bikes, and a 50amp. The tires are Ridgeway Sport ST 235/80R16.
On the rear there is a spare tire carrier with a spare tire, a ramp door, LED light, and it is backup camera prepped.
Interior
Living area
The garage has a 2000 lb max carrying capacity. In the garage the bunk is very high up, definitely hard to reach for shorter people. The seats fold down and turn into a bed as well, and there’s an area that is prepped for a stackable washer and dryer.
In the living area there is also a very nice loft area. The living area has an electric fireplace, a bunch of cabinet space, a spot for a tv, and three comfortable theater seats.
The kitchen has a huge pantry, compressor fridge with storage above, microwave, three burner cooktop, oven, storage both above and below, and a peninsula with a big single bowl sink and storage underneath.
Bedroom & bathroom
The half bathroom is very small with a sink and a PPP unworthy toilet.
The full bathroom has a Wil-unapproved shower, a nice sink with storage above and below, and a PPP-unworthy toilet with more cabinet space next to it.
The bedroom has a king size bed with storage underneath, cabinets around the bed, and a bunch of wardrobe space next to the bed.
Likes & dislikes
Likes
- Wil takes the first like with all of the appliances being the same brand—Furrion.
- Matt takes the second like with the bedroom both having a king size bed and being spacious.
- Wil takes the final like with the kitchen because the design is really nice and gives a lot of space for a toy hauler.
- Matt adds an additional like with the price point for what you get.
Dislikes
- Matt takes the first dislike, the plastic toilet and positioning in the half bath.
- Matt takes the second dislike as well which is the outside storage because the doors aren’t good and there’s not a lot of space.
- Wil takes the final dislike with the electric stabilizing jacks. There should really be 6 point electric leveling on a fifth wheel.
My final thoughts
This 5th wheel toy hauler is amazing for its price point. The floor plan really allows for a ton of space to move around comfortably. The only issues I saw was the electric stabilizing and how the half bath was so small Matt could barely fit, much less comfortably use the restroom.
MSRP: $89,831
